The arbitrary measures, racist and repressive practices of the Israeli occupation entity against our people in the occupied Golan increased their adherence to their land and insistence on standing up to the occupier and fighting until gaining freedom and liberating the occupied land.

On the liberated side, the head of the Quneitra Provincial Council, Dr. Shehata Merhi, affirmed that the occupied Golan is an integral part of Syria, and all its Judaization procedures are illegal and inconsistent with international treaties and covenants, and the resolutions of the Security Council and the General Assembly in this regard.

Member of the People's Assembly Dr. Refaat Al-Hussein saluted the steadfastness of our people in the Golan, who cling to their lands and their Syrian national identity, stressing Syria's insistence on liberating the entire occupied lands, while Sheikh Radwan Al-Tahan stressed that the Golan is the land of the ancestors and the family and we will return to it no matter how long and that the occupation over the ages is destined to disappear and the homelands remain for its people And its true owners.

Yesterday, the United Nations General Assembly renewed its demand that Israel, the occupying Power, comply with the resolutions relating to the occupied Syrian Golan, especially Resolution No. 497 of 1981, which considers Israel’s decision to impose its laws, jurisdiction and administration on the occupied Syrian Golan null and void and has no international legal effect. This was during the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of the resolution entitled "Occupied Syrian Golan" and voted in favor of the resolution 157 countries.
