Salamieh Gin received 2472 tons of beloved cotton

Salmiya Gin received 2472 tons of beloved cotton from the farmers of Al-Hasakeh and Al-Raqqa governorates from the beginning of the receipt operations until its date.

The manager of the gin, Eng. Basil Al-Hamwi, stated to a reporter to SANA today that the gin has produced 180 tons of granulated cotton resulting in 82 tons of industrial seeds and 62 tons of ginned cotton bales and the rest is secondary dust and residues.

He pointed out that starting next week, a second shift will be commissioned, after 12 o'clock in the afternoon, indicating that the gin includes three ginning machines and a sufficient number of workers who are able to operate three shifts daily if the need arises.

It is noteworthy that last year, Salmiya gin received 2324 tons of beloved cotton from the farmers of the eastern provinces.
