Iranian Supreme National Security Council spokesperson Kiwan Khosravi confirmed that American national security is threatened by foolish decisions of American leaders.
Khosravi said in a statement today, in response to the allegations of the Chairman of the Working Group on Iran at the American State (Brian Hook): “America's disavowal of the implementation of its legal obligations and the exploitation of the embargo and economic terrorism aimed at exerting pressure on the lives, safety and development of the Iranian people under the pretext of preventing the threat of American national security Rather, it is a stupid justification for criminality against the people, who have remained committed to their obligations despite all violations of the covenants of other parties.
And Khosravi stated that America has exposed its exit from the nuclear agreement to world peace and security and cannot pretend dialogue and negotiation to evade taking responsibility before global public opinion.
Hook had previously claimed that the embargo on Iran "comes to ensure US national security goals."
