Almost two years after the song's release, Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi and reggaeton star Daddy Yankee continue to climb the charts constantly.

YouTube has published a detailed summary of the most popular music videos of the last four decades, and "Despacito", sung primarily in Spanish, leads the list of hits in 2010.

With the huge figure of 6,500 million views, the music clip topped the list. And this is not the first time that "Despacito" has made history on YouTube.

In 2018, it became the first video in the world to reach 5 billion views on the video platform, giving artists a Guinness World Records title.

Here is the rest of the most watched YouTube music videos of this decade:

'Uptown Funk'

Sitting at number 4 are Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars with 3,700 million views. This song reached the top of the charts in 2015, remained there for 14 weeks and became the most durable Billboard Hot 100 of the decade.
