These are more fateful choices than it seems

Israel is going to a third day, which at first glance looks like the origin of a riot and a lack of creativity from a political ploy. Above the political sky, clouds of despair are pouring down on us, pouring rain of rage on the politicians. I deliberately use pictorial language, because that's the main message: Someone has an interest - and forgive me for the slang - to defeat us.

The anger and disappointment are justified. Political tension is exhausting and burdensome. But one must also take things in proportion, Israeli society is immune and mature enough to deal with it. At the same time, one must also understand that this feeling of despair is heightened and intensified by those who have a vested interest in stirring and crushing consciousness, until the public shakes hands and says "I don't care anymore." This is part of what I have called here, not just the "War of the Authorities." Think who enjoys the despair, that is, who is going to pick political fruit and who will play it. Once that point is understood, you will see how far these third-party elections are. no less. They exist in the sense that their results, whatever they may be, will accompany Israel for many years.

The Plunter and the Yes or No Unity government games have become a smoke screen, behind which, under its auspices, existential issues are discussed here. The first of these is the war of existence of the law enforcement system, which realizes that what was not. As a result, it comes into active defense. The Advocate Party's outcry only proves that the token has fallen - from Aaron Barak to Dinah Silver, for Bashi Bud.

They now understand that the right-wing victory in the upcoming elections means a reform of power and balancing power relations between authorities, and like any powerhouse, they are preparing to defend their territory at all costs. Slowly, they record success. Their actions so far have managed to bring the right to the next election at a disadvantage. A little more, if blue and white win, together with Lieberman who joined them for his own reasons, they can breathe a sigh of relief.

The concern is that what will burn in consciousness and political memory is the price tag of "teasing" the system, and Israeli politics will carry the burn for generations. It will not help if there is another election soon and the right will return to power; Who would want to deal with them again?

And under the political crisis, there is also a political issue. It has not been forgotten, and it is forbidden to live in the illusion that the members of the Tel Aviv team will be able to "keep Gantz on the right" in front of the entire bloc. A policy of withdrawal and establishment of a Palestinian state.

This is not a whim of a marginal politician, but an expression of one who is considered to have a strategic idea of a future. This is what the right-wing purists give their hand to. In the end, Lieberman, whose allies in the religious and ultra-Orthodox world and the right-wing street, were eventually thrown in favor of Yael German, Ofer Shelach and applause at the Habima Theater. Someday we'll know why.
