US President's son: Trump Jr. spreads call for telephone terror against US Democrats

2019-12-14T16:50:10.022Z

Donald Trump Jr. uses drastic means in the dispute over his father's impeachment proceedings. He urged supporters of the president to overwhelm indecisive politicians with a flood of calls.

Donald Trump's son has called on supporters of the US President to bombard Democratic congressmen with calls and tweets. On Saturday, Donald Trump Junior published a series of text messages with Twitter profiles and phone numbers of 31 Democrats, which his father immediately disseminated.

The Democrats on the list said they would support Donald Trump, but "they lied," Trump Junior wrote. "Call them all the time, tweet them, tell them it won't go on and you will remember it in November." The United States will vote in November 2020.

The published telephone numbers were not private numbers, but office numbers of the named persons, which could also be found when searching the Internet.

Enough! These Democrats in Trump districts said they were with @realDonaldTrump. They song! - Now now its time to hear from OUR MOVEMENT. Here's a complete thread of their handles & phone #s. Call non-stop, tweet at them, tell them this will NOT STAND & you'll remember in Nov! RT

Trump Junior did not place the call in connection with the US House of Representatives vote scheduled for next week on charges to open impeachment proceedings against Trump.

However, the idea is obvious: Until recently, some of the listed congressmen were considered to be undecided as to how to vote or, according to media reports, have not yet decided. However, the Democrats are expected to reach a simple majority. They have 235 out of 435 seats, for a simple majority they need 218 votes. The opening of impeachment proceedings against the US President could only be stopped if a significant number of Democrats opposed it.

The president is to be held responsible for the abuse of power and hindrance in the investigation by the Congress, i.e. the US Parliament. Trump would be the third president in US history against whom such proceedings would be officially opened. However, the procedure would be decided in the Senate, in which Trumps Republicans represent the majority.
