Tuen Mun District Council Member Lin Mingen launched a "raid" operation this morning, along with about 10 neighbours, went to Tuen Mun Park to inspect the situation of women's singing and performing arts at 3 pm, and investigated how much the staff spent after complaining to the LCSD staff Time processing. They first contacted a woman in red who sang with the man. The LCSD staff used a megaphone to influence other users. The daughter-in-law "I am a Hong Kong citizen!" The person present told her to return to the Mainland. , He retreated from the scene without active mediation.

"Female singer" receives summons, hears alarm, runs away

Later, Lin and others complained to the staff member about another "female singer" wearing a hat. After the venue manager read her the "Playground Regulations" and other regulations, she said that she would issue a court summons to require her to show her identity document. She countered that "Hong Kong citizens have the right to use public places" without harassing public safety, and argued with those present. Because she was unwilling to show her identity card, the staff called the police for help, and then the female singer rushed away. The venue manager stated that he had tried his best to prosecute her and that the police would assist her in finding her whereabouts.

Riot police arrived to intercept Lin Mingen and searched for his identity card

About half an hour later, about six uniformed police officers arrived at the scene to understand the incident, but were unable to deal with the incident. They said that they "scared" the assembled people and dismissed them. The number of people gathered in the park has increased to nearly one hundred.

Many people continue to gather in the park, and multiple singing stalls "close up" one after another. By 5 pm, half a hundred riot police officers suddenly entered the Tuen Mun Park, and random interviews were conducted at the scene. Lin Mingen was also intercepted. Police officers searched his rucksack and checked his identity card before release. According to Lin's observations, the riot police officers were not affiliated with the Tuen Mun Police District or Castle Peak District. He had questioned their police district and the reason for the investigation, but he did not respond. The riot police did not arrest anyone and eventually evacuated the park.

Lin Mingen said that in the past two weeks, he has visited the park and complained to staff, and then carried out the raid today. Unexpectedly, as many as 100 people participated in the operation. When asked how he would deal with the noise problem in Tuen Mun Park after taking office, Lin pointed out that the self-entertainment area has never been the core of the noise problem, because most performers perform outside the self-entertainment area. Although the LCSD has proposed amendments to the "Park Play Regulations" on the issue of park noise, it can only be used as witnesses by park users and expanded to LCSD staff and security guards to serve as witnesses. However, the agenda has not yet been passed. The situation has not been eliminated, and complaints will continue to be organized, hoping to improve the noise problem.
