The oil jug was enough for eight days celebrated every year at Chanukah, or in other words - a fun and delicious frying festival. Every evening warm puffs and swollen donuts run out, and great joy. Over the years I have often tried to combine the fried carnival with a legitimate dinner. Well, at the sight of holiday foods, the vegetables, legumes and whole grains are abandoned - and rightly so.

This year, the spirit served, and in the burst of the world of desserts, I created fries that would be a last-ditch dish, with all that implied. Will accompany them with sauces, whipped cream, dough crumbs and other dessert characteristics. Maybe I can build around the whim also expecting a first and main course, who knows ?!

In the meantime, the Hanukkah fried dessert menu stars soft and wonderful banana pies, combined with a country-style milk jam, of course. Apple caramel turned into fried apple rings served with golden dough crumbs and sour cream, and there are also the black forest donuts on the chocolate purée and cherries.

Black Forest Donuts

The ingredients (for about 20 donuts):

For donuts:

√ 2 eggs

√ 2 Eshel Cups

√ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

√ 1 tablespoon sugar

√ 350 grams (3 cups of disposable one) flour flour

√ 1 cup of chocolate crackles

For chocolate sauce:

√ 1 of each sweet cream

√ 200 grams of dark chocolate cut into cubes

For submission:

√ Sugar powder

√ Whipped cream

√ 1 cup of Amarna cherries (cherries in sugar syrup)

Preparation:

For chocolate sauce: Heat the sweet cream to a boil (possible in the microwave). Add the chocolate cubes to the hot cream and set aside for a minute.

Predate with a skewer until the chocolate melts in to a velvety, thick sauce.

For donuts: Mix all ingredients in a bowl, except the chocolate crackers. Gradually add the flour (several times, each time slightly - and mix), allow in a pole mixer to prevent lumps. Finally add the chocolate crackers and mix together.

In a small saucepan, heat oil for about 5 cm high on medium flame.

When the oil is warm enough, reduce the flame slightly, and with a spoon of ice cream or a concave spoon, gently place the batter in the oil (work slowly and close to the oil so it does not break).

Let the donuts fry for about 3 minutes on each side.

Remove with a slotted spoon and transfer to a plate lined with absorbent paper.

Serve with powdered sugar, whipped cream and cherries.

Heartbreak in the scenery

Ingredients (about 20 pancakes):

Heartfelt:

√ 5 tablespoons flour flour

√ 2 tablespoons minced coconut

√ 2 tablespoons of sugar

√ 2 tablespoons milk jam

√ 1/3 tablespoon yogurt 4%

√ 2 crushed bananas

√ 1 egg

√ Oil for frying

For submission:

√ 1 box of mascarpone, well-softened

√ 1 cup of biscuit crumbs

√ 1 cup of fine milk jam

Preparation:

Mix all the ingredients into a smooth chewable pie.

Heat a little oil in a pancake pan or non-stick pan. Pour a heaping tablespoon out of the mixture into each socket in the pancake pan or form mounds in a standard skillet.

Fry for 2 minutes each side on low flame.

Arrange on a serving plate and serve with mascarpone, biscuit crumbs and milk jam.

Fried potato with caramel

Materials (about 20 units):

√ 3 peeled medium apples

For the night:

√ 1 cup flour flour

√ 3 tablespoons of sugar

√ 1 egg

√ 3/4 cup saturation

√ 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

For Caramel:

√ 100 grams of diced butter

√ 1/2 cup of demerara sugar

√ 3/4 cup flour

√ 1 teaspoon baking powder

√ 1/2 cup peeled hazelnuts

√ 1/2 cup bleached almonds

√ Oil for deep frying

For submission:

√ 1 sour cream cup

Preparation:

Caramel: In a food processor, pulse all dough ingredients for crumbs. Sprinkle on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a 180-degree oven for about 15 minutes. Crumble the crumbs that are stuck and cool.

For the fried apples: Cut the apples into 1/2-inch thick slices. Using a jerk, cut out the core, thus forming a ring.

Heat in an oil medium saucepan up to 5 cm high, dip each apple ring in batter on both sides and, when hot, place in oil, lower to medium heat and fry for about a minute and a half on each side, until golden. Transfer to a plate with absorbent paper.

(It is recommended to fry up to 5-3 units at a time depending on the size of the pot to allow the apples to float over the oil).

Serve the fried apples with sour cream and the caramel.
