The value of the loans granted by the Agricultural Cooperative Bank Branch in Izraa in Daraa countryside to ten peasant associations since the beginning of the current agricultural season last October to the date of 203,258 million Syrian pounds to cover the needs of farmers from production requirements "seeds and fertilizers".
The director of the bank’s branch, Eng. Riyadh Al-Talib, stated to a reporter to SANA today that the distribution of fertilizers to farmers is continuous. The quantities of superphosphate reached 3213 tons, urea 1093 tons, ammonium nitrate 321 tons, and potassium sulfate 15 tons.
He added that the branch seeks to secure the requirements of farmers during the agricultural season 2019-2020, thus contributing to the implementation of the agricultural plan as required.
