The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirmed that all students who are exhausted and covered by the provisions of Decree No. 69 of 2019 can submit all their investigative courses to their terms, whether from the first or second semester within the exams of the first semester of the current academic year that will take place next month.

The ministry explained in a circular that SANA received a copy of it today that after the completion of the modified semester system in public universities and the return to the semester system, exhausted students can take the first semester exams.

Public universities run two exams courses according to the semester system instead of three exams courses in the modified semester system.

The Ministry confirmed during last October that Decree No. 69 is still in effect until the first semester of the current academic year, denying what is being circulated on social networking sites and pages regarding mechanisms to address the situation of exhausted and discontinuous students and their return to the university.

Decree No. 69 issued on the twenty-third of last February provides for granting exceptional exams courses to the first-year undergraduate students - and an exceptional year for those who qualify as students of qualification, specialization and graduate studies - and providing space for those dismissed from the Master's thesis during the war period to re-enroll them - and to give an additional year to students Masters and PhD - taking into account the conditions of military students in the various stages of the previous university study with additional facilities.
