The Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate in Damascus countryside has organized 53 different catering settings for a number of shops and bakeries as a result of violations related to billing, advertising at an excessive price, and trading in catering bread.
Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus countryside Loay Salem explained to SANA that the organized violations yesterday were divided between 21 violations, in violation of the non-presentation of purchase invoices, and the presentation of irregular bills, 13 restrictions in violation of advertising or selling at an excessive price, and 15 controls in violation of non-advertising of prices and services allowance.
The violations also included 3 seizures against bakeries to not manufacture the entire provisions and trade in ration bread, and a seizure against a fuel station, in violation of the failure to announce the price of the material, according to Salem, who pointed out that five complaints were received by the Directorate.
The elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection also seized a store to sell broiler material and its parts and seal it with red wax in the town of Ghazlaniyeh, because its owner cheated in the kebab industry by inserting the dried nitrate into the broiler meat after adding spices taking advantage of the price difference.
Salem indicated that the owner of the shop was referred to the competent court after seizing the violating material and destroying the fundamentally.
The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus countryside organized 22 seizures against fuel stations and distribution centers and diesel fuel distributors during the second week in the Qalamoun, Qutayfah, Tal, Kiswah and Ghouta regions.
