The driver suspected of driving to death of Tomer Weinstein, 45, and Yaniv Logsey, 44, while riding a bicycle in Kadima-Zoran, was arrested Monday for police investigation. The source of the accident details told the Walla! NEWS that the driver is a resident of Or Akiva (29), with no traffic history. Police are investigating a suspicion that he was apparently speeding.

During his police investigation, the Dorse driver said he slept well at night and did not consume alcohol or drugs. He also claimed to be driving on the road when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle in a bend. Attorney Tomer Gannon, the defense attorney, said on his behalf that he is participating in the grief of the families and that he hopes the police will quickly and effectively investigate the details.

Traffic testers are examining testimonies from people around the area when the car accident happened this morning. Due to fear of disrupting an investigation, the offending driver will remain in custody tonight and will be brought tomorrow for a hearing to extend his detention in Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court. Police will look into whether he was intoxicated and under the influence of drugs, more options for driving easily, head for dead, mindless driving, speeding incompatible with road conditions and causing property damage.

In a phone call to MDA, a witness stated that the two were unconscious, bleeding and not breathing. Under the guidance of the MDA, one of the CPRs performed CPR when an ambulance was sent to evacuate the wounded and transport them to the hospital for medical treatment. "They are unconscious, they are bleeding and not breathing," he testified. He also said the two were 40 and not breathing. He resuscitated them until the arrival of the MDA team.

The two casualties, residents of Kadima-Zoran, went out for a ride early in the morning, during which they were killed. Revital Canning, the sister of Tomer Weinstein, said: "He was the protector of the family. He rode a bicycle with a friend this morning, just the two of them. He rode all the time, he is a professional and responsible athlete." The nurse noted that her brother, 45, left behind a wife and three children aged eight, 12 and 15. "He was a stunning person, always present, sociable, smiling, always supportive and in everything. I can't say what it would be like without him. I have no words about this loss. Shock to everyone. I don't know how we will continue."

"He was amazing, charismatic, captivating and swept everyone behind him," added nurse Michal Aharoni, who told Weinstein he just returned from a vacation in Budapest yesterday. "He was an amazing uncle to my kids. He was sick of sports - running, riding and swimming." His funeral will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m.

Yaniv Logassi, 44, left behind a wife and three children aged eight, 11 and 13. He worked at a high-tech company and specialized in developing complex financial systems. His brother-in-law, Oren Faran, said that Yaniv "came out today in the morning, at a quarter to six, as he has done in all the past years. He was training in a cycling and running team. Today he went out with Tomer."

"He was an amazing person, always helpful, always with the kids in everything he needed," the brother-in-law added. "Travel and travel, investing in school, taking them to everything you need. In the army he was in the Yael patrol, made many years of reserve. A man who is proactive, full of ideas, savvy in all that is complex."

Farren protested the carnage on the roads, saying "this lawlessness must be put to an end." He said, "The driver drove from the other side of the road. They drove at the entrance to Bnei Zion, this is a two-lane road, and the driver cut the track and entered them and into the guardrail. He left them no chance. They drove in their lane, and he apparently cut the lane."

Kadima-Zoran found it difficult to digest the deaths of the two council residents who were killed in the accident. Councilor Karen Green said: "We got up this morning, for a tough morning, where we learned that the two residents of the community had been killed in a car accident."

The council made it clear that professional teams were sent to assist families, and that schools had conversations with students. "The Kadima-Zoran community is bowing its head today and participating in the heavy grief of families," Green added.
