Activists and migrants in Tijuana, Mexico, who hope to reach the United States to apply for asylum participated in the traditional Christmas inn that has been held for more than 20 years to unite that city with San Diego. The initiative was born to symbolically remember the Christian pilgrimage of Mary and Joseph a few days after the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. The organizers offered a moment of prayer to share the experiences of those who have left their countries and have not yet reached their destination, at a time when the entry of new immigrants to the US is becoming increasingly difficult.
