(CNN Spanish) - An amateur of the Uruguayan National football club died when he was shot when he celebrated the triumph of his team after the end of the tournament with a group of fans in the streets of Montevideo.
Several videos shared on social networks show the group of fans of the club walking the streets celebrating and singing songs when several shots are heard that disperse part of the group.
According to the Ministry of Interior of Uruguay, "the author is visualized in images" and ask for help from the population to identify him.

The National condemned the act of violence in their social networks.

Peñarol, a team that disputed the title against Nacional, also repudiated the incident.
"That the person or persons responsible for these events be identified and made available to the competent Justice," they said in their Twitter account.
