Within the activities of the Syrian Plastic Art Days and under the title "Memory of Creativity .. Syria", Al Hikmiyeh Gallery of Arts in Lattakia hosted a group exhibition of artists who, in different schools and artistic experiences, formed an important part of the fine life in the governorate and Syria in general.
The exhibition, in which 31 artists from Latakia participated, included 54 artworks, which varied between oil painting, acrylic, graphic and sculptural works on various materials, giving the opportunity to the fans of plastic art to see an important number of diverse works in terms of subjects, art schools and techniques used by artists from different artistic generations, some of them from The first pioneers.
The artist Magdy Hakamieh, the founder of the Hakmiya Gallery and participant in the exhibition, has two works that were overpowered by the Sufi character. Hoping that these forums will contribute to upgrading the ancient cultural role of our country.
For his part, the artist Muhammad Asaad Samoqan, who participated in the exhibition, saw two new works from a project he is currently working on under the title "Post-War Faces" .. that the exhibition constitutes a Syrian memory for creativity, as it includes the works of artists belonging to different artistic generations, some of them from the generation of pioneers, such as Laila Naseer, in addition to artists They have their own technical experience
The large and important, considering that the most important characteristic of group exhibitions is their ability to combine different artistic experiences and place them in front of the recipient.
The plastic artist Mohamed Badr Hamdan, the participant in the exhibition, saw that the visual dialogue of beauty is the most important thing that mankind has been able to produce culturally, and he saw that the exhibition presents an important aesthetic flash for the experiences of important artists from this province in particular, and it also represents an opportunity for meetings and cultural dialogues.
The plastic artist Bassam Nasser, who participated in the exhibition, has done two works, one of which is in the framework of abstraction and the second impressionistic symbolizing the Syrian human being, and the sadness and pain that he stores. And to emphasize that the culture in Syria reflects love and art on this earth.
