"Respect Our Leader": Netanyahu continues the primaries campaign

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu holds three support conferences in the north on Tuesday in the Likud-led primaries campaign. Netanyahu's primaries campaign began this afternoon in Acre, where Mayor Shimon Lankery expressed support for Gideon Sa'ar and even attended the evening's support. From there, he left for the Druze village of Yarka to convene at the home of former MK Patin Mula, who served in the Knesset for a short period, following the previous round of elections.

During the conference in Acre, Netanyahu called on the voters to vote for him at the polls, saying: "First of all, don't believe the commentators, and come to vote in the primaries. The primaries are the first test and also important for them to win, and win big." When asked where he was drawing the forces to deal with the indictments filed against him, Netanyahu said, "I draw the forces from Israel and the people of Israel. I draw the forces from you."

Before Netanyahu's arrival in Yarqa, several hundred residents protested at the entrance to the settlement, protesting against the National Law. The protesters read "Bibi we do not want you in the Druze communities" and issued posters that read "Bibi unwanted guest of her". Dr. Amir Hannips, head of the Israeli-Druze Center and chair of the National Law Struggle Forum led the demonstration. He claimed that prior to the rally, he received threats to his life and filed a police complaint. "Threats will not deter us," Hanifs said during the rally. "We will fearlessly protest against the outgoing prime minister and racist legislation against us."

At the conference itself, Netanyahu addressed the Druze citizens and told his supporters that "When I was first elected, I made a huge cut in all government offices. In all, except the Druze." He added that "Five years ago, we made a five-year plan that brought a lot of blessing and started closing gaps, but there is more to do. Get ready for the next one."

Subsequently, Netanyahu came to a support conference in Haifa with the participation of several hundred activists. Signs like "Netanyahu = Dreyfus", "Enough for Persecution" and other signs were issued in the same spirit. "He is the king, who will be honored by our leader," said one supporter of the conference as she stands on a chair and excites the audience with the songs. Another supporter who shouted "We are Benjamin Netanyahu only Bibi," explained: "If Bibi won't be, we won't be either." Tomorrow Gideon Sa'ar is expected to attend his own primaries conference.

During the conference, Netanyahu addressed, among other things, the arrest of Naama Issachar, the Israeli who is serving a prison sentence in Russia after being caught with a cannabis at a Moscow airport, saying: "You call me a magician, about Putin, but I promise one thing, I bring Naama Issachar home."

In addition, Netanyahu also addressed the issue of the Carmel fire, saying: "I have transformed worlds and used the connections I have for the state. I tell you that recently there has been another fire, since we established a fire squadron, there is something happening. The squadron is adjusted to a certain temperature and there was a fire in Again, just now. " He went on to say that "the squadron did not fit the mission, so I called the Greek government and they brought Greek firefighters. See what changes we made."

He claimed that the media did not reflect the reality picture, "Not in security, not in foreign relations, not in the open sky, not in roads, in infrastructure, in cyber, all that they do not tell. Here I tell you this," he said. "I ask that each of you stand up and bring yourself and your friends to the ballot box because our first test is in the primaries and we're going to bring a big win."
