[Social Welfare Strike] Launch of Central Strike Today

The anti-revision demonstrations have not subsided for more than half a year. Some social welfare organizations have been dissatisfied with the Hong Kong Government's failure to agree to the establishment of an independent investigative committee and other five major demands. Today (17), a "warning strike" will be held for three consecutive days. The promoters said recently that 40 trade unions and different attention groups have been organized, and more than 2,000 peers are expected to participate in the rally. From 10 am in the social welfare sector, three rallies will be held at Edinburgh Place, Central, including the "Yellow Helmet" guardianship operation, the five districts and your mourning tribute to the humanitarian disaster in Hong Kong. All three rallies have been issued a notice of no objection by the police.
