The life of 29-year-old Chen Danziger, who died of cardiac arrest at the high school where she teaches, was rescued at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. Danziger, who works as an educator at Branco Weiss School in Beit Shemesh, married and mother of two, in her fifth month of pregnancy, arrived on work day and at the entrance to the school collapsed and was in fact a heart-wrenching death.

Two 17-year-olds found Danziger and began performing CPR. At the same time, rescue teams and MDAs arriving at the scene found her in a room-breaking condition and treated her with four electric shocks in order to regain a pulse.

The electric blows were successful, and Danziger was evacuated to the trauma unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, when the staff monitored her and began examinations. She is now being treated in the cardiac intensive care unit, under the care of Dr. Gabi Elbaz Griner.

Dr. Greiner, a senior cardiologist at Hadassah's Cardiac Arrangement, said that "she was actually dead already." She added, "This is certainly an unusual cardiac event, manifested in a life-threatening arrhythmia and had it not been the life-saving treatment of both students and MDA staff - She wasn't here with us. "

"She is now in a stable condition and is smiling, still monitored and will likely undergo a defibrillator transplant to protect her from these types of arrhythmia," said Dr. Elbaz Griner.

This is not the first case in the same family, her older brother had a similar heartbreak about four years ago and his life was saved under similar circumstances.
