He was arrested by the carabinieri of the Ros anarchist who was held responsible for placing an explosive device in front of the Genoa post office on 8 June 2016. The man was framed thanks to the reliefs on his DNA. The military carried out the order of custody in prison, issued by the GIP of the court of Turin, at the request of the anti-terrorism group of the local prosecutor's office. The provision stems from a broader investigative activity of the Ros on radical anarchist groups.
On June 8, 2016, in front of the Genoa post office in Via Gaetano Colombo, the street cameras had taken up two subjects with a distorted face who placed the explosive device near the Postamat. The findings made on the traces left by a glove used by one of the two anarchists were decisive for identification and arrest. The details of the operation will be illustrated during a press conference, which will take place at 11 am at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Turin.
