The General Company for Hama Oils has started the work of installing a new press at a cost of 380 million Syrian pounds with a production capacity of 100 tons per day to raise the capabilities of the company and increase the quantity and quality of production.
He pointed out that the company's sales since the beginning of the year until the end of last November amounted to 730 million and 11 thousand pounds resulting from the marketing of its products to the local market, including 322 tons of cotton seed oil, 2511 tons of material, 19 tons of sunflower oil, 272 tons of sunflower oil, and 25 tons. Soap, noting that there is a significant improvement in the company's sales of cotton seed oil because it is 15 percent less than its counterparts in the market.
Qalafah pointed out that the company is working on implementing its production plan and improving the quality of the product through periodic maintenance of production lines and making adjustments to them to serve the production process. It also continues to supply the local market with cotton oil material and work to stabilize its prices, indicating that the company recently concluded a contract with the Production Projects Department to sell 15 tons of cotton oil.
It is noteworthy that during the last agricultural season, Hama Oils Company rented 5200 tons of industrial cotton seeds from the governorate gins.
