Syrian and Arab intellectuals and scholars have unanimously agreed that the identity of Arab nationalism is subjected to attempts to distort and this must be confronted by focusing on our cultural and civilizational identity, fortifying generations and heading to the world with one vision, indicating that Syria was able, through its steadfastness, struggle and sacrifices, to stand in the face of these attempts.

During the international intellectual symposium organized by the Directorate of Damascus Culture in the cultural of Abu Rummana under the title "Regional and International Interventions and the Difference of Political Projects and their Role in Attempting to Fracture the National Identity" that concluded its activities today, intellectuals called for preserving the national identity as a precursor to preserving the state and its capabilities and central issues pointing to the need to strengthen Deepening the Arab national identity through education, and culture to confront Zionist imperialism that seeks to dissolve the national identity.

Political and media advisor in the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Buthaina Shaaban pointed out that the Arab identity is targeted today more than ever through the attempts of the Israeli occupation authorities to distort our culture and confuse the ideas of young generations with American support, stressing the need to focus on our cultural and cultural identity and fortify new generations through a value system Educational and orientation to the world with one vision and Arab partnership.
