The Secretary-General of the Human Rights Committee in Iran, Mohammad Javad Larijani, confirmed that his country will deal firmly and strictly with saboteurs and terrorists, while dealing will be different with those participating in the demand protests and those who did not participate in sabotage.
Larijani said during his meeting with the diplomatic missions accredited in Tehran today that the events that the country witnessed recently were exploited by some groups to implement foreign plans and agendas with the aim of harming public property and spreading the culture of violence and killing in a manner similar to the practices of the ISIS terrorist organization.
Larijani indicated that the security forces were able to separate popular protests and terrorist sabotage acts and showed their strength gradually and were able to restore calm to the country.
Iran has recently witnessed a wave of protests exploited by some groups and wreaked havoc and sabotage in Iranian infrastructure, but Iranian security services managed to control the situation and arrest many members of sabotage groups who were proven during the investigations of the implementation of plans of major powers hostile to Iran.
