On the occasion of the approaching Christmas and New Year's Day, the Christmas tree was lit this evening in front of the building of the Tourism Directorate in the service district of Al-Baath in Quneitra, amid an official and popular presence of the people of the provinces of Damascus and Quneitra.
During the event, 50 children of the martyrs were honored.
The priest Mounir Abu Issa, pastor of the Church of Hina and Arna, expressed his joy to light the Christmas tree on the land of Quneitra Governorate, which has a special impact in the hearts of the Syrians, because the occupied Syrian Golan follows her, pointing out that the lighting of the tree is a celebration of joy, love and message to the world and our steadfast people in the occupied Golan who maintain Their national heritage and affiliation.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hajji of the Deir Mar Yaqoub Al-Maqta Association, which supervises the lighting of the Christmas tree, indicated that the participation is an affirmation of the unity of the Syrian joy and the Syrians' participation of each other with their joy and their religious and social occasions.
