New culinary line in Kinneret. In recent days, the Alta restaurant, which is actually a fish and seafood lounge, has of course been opened, from the Mediterranean basin. The owners of the restaurant, the Nadav brothers and Naur Dayan, residents of the area, declare that the restaurant was created from the desire to connect food, wine, alcohol and atmosphere for those looking for a meal of international standards against the views of the Sea of Galilee.

The cuisine of Alta is based on high quality, quality ingredients and the menu is based on dishes from the sea inspired by Mediterranean culture. The fish, which come from the best suppliers in Israel, not necessarily from the Sea of Galilee, will be treated with a charcoal grill or a smoker on the way to the plate.

The restaurant also declares widespread use of local produce by the region's farmers and manufacturers, so the menu also changes from time to time, and changes according to the seasons and the soil's yield.

The people behind the menu are the owners, Nadav Dayan (32) and Naur Dayan (27), brothers from the Nehemiah colony in the Jordan Valley. The two also function as the owners of the old and successful "On the River" restaurant in the north.

The first courses of the on-site menu include, among others, calamari and bonfire, tabula and raw fish, sea fish cigar, sebiche sea fish and sea fish sashimi. Essentially, we can find a sea pan with bar-blam sauce, grouper grouper and filet.

The wine menu was built by Somalia Omri Yitzhak, owner of the St Urban Wine Bar in the Scottish Hotel in neighboring Tiberias, drawing on boutique importers of wines from across the Mediterranean and the classic wine regions of Europe.
