The United States House of Representatives will vote Wednesday (Wednesday) on two impeachment counts against U.S. President Donald Trump - Democratic Majority Leader Stannie Hoyer today confirmed. He said the leaders of the House of Representatives would not pressure members of their party committees on how to vote.

In response, US President Donald Trump sent a letter to U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi today, stating that Democratic delegates in Congress "declared war on American democracy." In the letter, Trump called the entire impeachment process "an illegal coup."

"It was a total shame from the start," Trump told reporters at the White House shortly after the letter was published.

Senate Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell rejected the Democratic Representative's request to call four former White House delegates as witnesses in the upcoming Senate impeachment trial. In doing so, McConnell sent another clear signal that he expects senators not to oust Trump from office.

McConnell said he would not allow a "fishing expedition" after the "sloppy" ouster of the House, while Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer said a trial without witnesses would be "disrespectful" in the process.

"From all we can tell, the Democratic impeachment inquiry from the House of Representatives has failed to come anywhere close to the impeachment of a duly elected president, let alone his first removal in American history," McConnell said. The White House also voted against opposition to a Senate trial request. McConnell previously said there was "no way" that the Senate would persuade and oust Trump and that he would work "in complete coordination" with the White House and Trump's defense team. "What are you afraid of Connell? Schumer asked, adding: "If you try to hide evidence and block evidence, it's probably not because the evidence is going to help in your case. It's because you're trying to cover up something."

Last week, Democrats in the House of Representatives unveiled impeachment counts against Trump. The clauses that have been formulated against Trump are abusing his authority and disrupting congressional investigations as part of his relations with Ukraine and allegations that he has put undue pressure on him to question his rivals.

"He considers himself above the law," said Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerold Nadler, who presented the indictments to party officials. "We need to be clear - no one, including the president, is above the law," he said. The US Constitution, hurting the purity of the elections and jeopardizing the national security of the United States. "Our elections are a cornerstone of democracy. Our next election is in jeopardy from a president who has already sought foreign intervention in the 2016 and 2020 elections.

"Pure Political Madness"

Trump denies that he acted incorrectly, describing the impeachment process against him as "witch hunt," as he said after Democrats revealed the charges, which he called "ridiculous." According to him, the attempt to oust a president while the economy is in such good shape, and especially "because he did nothing wrong, is a pure political craze."

The White House, which refused to cooperate with the House hearings because he said the process was unfair, blamed Democrats for a "baseless and political" attempt to reverse the 2016 election results. "The president will respond to these false charges in the Senate and he expects full credit because he did nothing wrong," White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grishham said in a statement.

In light of the question marks surrounding the unfavorable pressure on Ukraine, prosecutors in the United States said Lev Farnes, Rudy Giuliani's associate, was paid about $ 1 million from Ukrainian oligarch Dimitro Firtash. Farnes, a U.S. citizen born in Ukraine, was released on bail after being arrested in October and living in a Florida home. Prosecutors said Farnes, who was charged with violating campaign finance, must cancel his bail because he hid payment from them. Farnes denied concealing the payment. Farnes has been charged alongside another Florida businessman, Belorussian-born Igor Froman, for illegally raising funds to support Trump's election campaign and other politicians.
