The Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court will discuss (Wednesday) the restrictive conditions imposed on the nine 15-to-16-year-old boys suspected of raping a 14-year-old girl in the lowlands. The boys were recently arrested and after several days of detention were released for house arrest on parole, while the investigation into the case is ongoing.

Recall that the investigation began following information about suspected sexual abuse that the girl had undergone on suspicion. The case was investigated under a blanket prohibition order and, as mentioned, allowed for partial publication yesterday.

The details allowed for publication indicate that the girl knew one of the boys through a social network. Later, he met other boys who convinced her to meet some of them. According to the investigation, they committed a series of sex offenses, including a group offense, and took advantage of her condition.

After the complaint and investigation of the girl by a child investigator, police began searching for the suspects and they were arrested one after the other, nine in total. They were detained and denied the offenses attributed to them. Some claimed that the sex with the girl was consensual. The investigation file was passed for a decision of the prosecutor's office, which will decide if an indictment is filed.
