López Obrador considers canceling protected witness program in Mexico

(CNN Spanish) - Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said his government will not use protected witnesses.

López Obrador believes that the program has "unfortunate practices that were used against those who had positions other than the government." "That is over, there has been nothing like this in all this time," the president said in his morning press conference this Friday.
