Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem confirmed that the American interference in Lebanese affairs aims to stir discord and incite resistance.

Qasim added in a speech today that "the American administration continues to incite against Lebanon and impose an economic blockade on it and to interfere in Lebanese affairs to cause chaos and create sedition to achieve its project in formulating the government and the future political situation in Lebanon under the pretext of supporting Lebanon economically."

Qassem stressed the necessity of speeding up the formation of the Lebanese government after the mandate of Prime Minister Hassan Diab today to work to stop the economic and social decline.

For its part, the Islamic Action Front in Lebanon affirmed that the blatant American interference in Lebanese internal affairs, whether on the political, economic or sovereign level is rejected and condemned, stressing that Lebanon has a natural right to benefit from its wealth by land and sea, especially oil and gas.

In a statement today, the front called on all Lebanese officials to adhere to those oil and gas riches and not to give up or give them up for any reason, and that they should also reject all apparent and inward American terms and dictates.

The Front saw that the visit of Assistant US Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hill to Lebanon, especially in light of the current circumstances the country is going through, is suspicious of the form and content, adding that “Hill will speak today and tomorrow with the tongue of the vicious and vicious Zionist enemy who is seeking breathlessness to steal and plunder Lebanon’s wealth and wealth.” .
