The trial, which originated from an inquiry by the Public Prosecutor of Turin and the Carabinieri del Nas, takes place in Rome after the transmission of the documents ordered by a gup of the Subalpine Court. The hypothesis of moving the cause to Palermo is being evaluated in the capital.
The Piedmontese biologist Erica Molino, who asked to negotiate the sentence, and the Palermo Rosalinda Labarbera, summoned as president of the Prostamina Life association, are the defendants with Vannoni.
