And according to the engineer, Lamia Hanna, one of the tree designers was distinguished by the presence of 6 figures on each side representing some of the ancient and heritage buildings from the city of Homs, "The New and Old Clock, Church of the Forty, Syrian Catholics, Khalid Bin Al Waleed Mosque, Dalati, and Museum" made of wood panels, stereopores, and insulating materials.
In a related context, a birth tree was lit in the village of Al-Mazina in the western countryside of Homs, in the presence of a large number of families, clerics and owners of commercial activities. Father Boutros Hazouri, the priest of the Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation in Al-Muzainah, indicated that the holiday atmosphere in Homs is filled with joy, virtue and love, hoping that Christmas will be a birthday and a new resurrection for Syria .
In turn, Hani Aboud and Rony Al-Shami, one of the event organizers, said that a group of Al-Mazina youth gathered to create and illuminate the Christmas tree with the aim of spreading joy on people's faces.
