Within the framework of the continuous work to advance the service reality, Damascus Governorate started the works of asphalting Fares El Khoury Street, which runs from the Abbasid Garages to the Abbasid Square, in conjunction with equipping the fair and extending the “natural lawn” Kazon bults.

The director of supervision in Damascus Governorate, Engineer Hassan Traboulsi said in a statement to the delegate of Sana that today the asphalt works started by going from the garages towards the square, which is 800 meters long and 12 meters wide, in addition to parking cavities with an area of ​​about four meters, indicating that cutting the road will take place during the asphalting works During the day, the asphalting road will start from the Abbasid Square towards the garages, after completing the going way.

And Traboulsi said that the lighting and electricity directorate in the governorate has completed the work of rehabilitating lighting devices in the street, starting from the garages and going to the square.

In the same context, the director of maintenance in the governorate, Eng. Muhammad Hamamiyya, explained that the directorate’s workshops started the works of asphalting Uhud Street in Barzeh residences that extend from Ibn Al-Nafees towards Qaboun, noting that the workshops are working to address the landing that occurs alongside the Sumerian garages to start its asphalting, in addition to preparing the association road in East Dummar .

Hamamiyeh pointed out that the workshops carried out the cement blocks from the side of Sednaya Garage and opened the sub road from Al-Thawra Street to Ain Al-Karsh area by removing the concrete blocks that prevent the entry of cars, indicating that the river workshops are permanently working to clean the course of the Barada River and its branches passing through the city according to the daily program throughout the course Year.

In the morning, the Directorate of Hygiene in the Governorate cleaned the pedestrian bridges in Al-Bahsa, Al-Thawra and Salah al-Din.
