First parliamentary victory for British Prime Minister Boris Johnson after the new parliament rallies following the unprecedented electoral achievement of conservatives in the country's election last week.
The prime minister's party succeeded in passing the EU exit agreement in most 124 MPs, 358 supporters against 234 opponents. This is a predictable but critical victory for the prime minister, who plans to approve the agreement and remove his country from the union by the end of January.
Following the vote, EU Council President Charles Michel commented that this was "an important step towards an EU-UK agreement".

The British parliament is expected to leave for the Christmas holiday tomorrow and return to activity only in early January, long enough for the country's opposition to come out of the defeat of the election and return and try to narrow the prime minister's steps in parliament.
Johnson has been harshly criticized this week even by his own party after deciding to withdraw from the union exit agreement and concessions made by Theresa May's government regarding foreign workers' children and UK labor rights.
But despite the criticism and thanks to a large majority in the Legislature, Johnson's party hopes to enter into an agreement with the Union by law by mid-January, which will give Parliament enough time to finalize the separation from the union before the end of January.
