The Libyan parliament in Tobruk condemned Erdogan's announcement of his readiness to send his forces to Libya, warning him that "Libya will not be a gateway for the return of the defunct Ottoman occupation to the Arab world."
The Defense and National Security Committee in Parliament called on the Libyan Armed Forces to target any movement of the Turkish forces in the Libyan territories by land, air and sea, considering any object or place used by Turkey as a legitimate target of the Libyan Armed Forces, while the Greek government announced that Athens submitted an objection to the United Nations regarding the agreement between the Government of Concord Libyan and Turkish regime on maritime borders, describing it as a violation of international law.
