(CNN Spanish) - The request of the arrest warrant against former president Evo Morales published by the Bolivian Public Ministry was “raised in consultation, for analysis, to the International Criminal Police Organization, based in Lyon, France”, The Interpol Departmental Director in La Paz, Augusto Russo, reported Thursday.
The Interpol General Secretary will analyze the tax requirement to define what corresponds, Russo explained.

Morales is required by Bolivian authorities to testify in the case that he is being investigated against him for the alleged commission of the crimes of terrorism and sedition.
The former president has denied his responsibility and said from Argentina, where he remains as an asylee, that he considers that the arrest warrant against him is unconstitutional.
