Cairo-Sana
Member of the Egyptian House of Representatives, Yusri Al-Assuiti, denounced the American law that was recently ratified by the Senate and imposes coercive economic measures on the Syrian people, stressing that this law, called “Caesar,” aims to hinder the Syrian Arab army's victories against terrorism.
Al-Asiouti stated in a statement to a SANA correspondent in Cairo that the Syrian state fights terrorism, confronts it and pays its threat to the Arab region, noting that the Egyptian and Syrian people are one entity, and any threat to one of them is a threat to the other, and this unjust American law cannot be accepted.
Al-Asyouti also denounced the targeting of Syrian oil installations and said: This targeting comes within the framework of the terrorist plan aimed at undermining the capabilities of the Syrian state.
For his part, Major General Fouad Allam, member of the Egyptian Supreme Council for Combating Terrorism, affirmed in a similar statement that Syria is able to defeat terrorism and all the forces that conspire against it.
Allam condemned the targeting of Syrian oil installations by terrorist organizations, stressing at the same time the ability of the Syrian Arab Army in its current battle to eliminate terrorism, especially in the north.
Allam explained that the positions of some countries in the region, such as Turkey and Qatar, in addition to America, Britain and France, are within the framework of an old plan to divide the region and drain its resources.
Regarding the fear in Western countries of the return of terrorist elements to it, Allam said that this fear is a major lie promoted by the West with the Turkish regime, asking: If European countries cannot protect themselves from the terrorists returning to them, what should we Arabs and hundreds of thousands of terrorist elements on our land do on our land?
