Member of the Egyptian Parliament, Adel Shehab Al-Din Al-Sharif confirmed that the American administration is trying to hinder the victory of the Syrian state in its war against terrorism through its coercive economic measures against the Syrian people.
Al-Sharif said in a statement to a SANA correspondent in Cairo that "Washington aims to besiege and weaken Syria due to the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorist organizations, especially in Idlib," noting that the American move to pass what is called the "Caesar Law" came at a time when the installations were targeted Syrian oil, which confirms that Washington is working to cover up the crimes of terrorism, which in turn works within the framework of the Zionist-American plan to divide the region.
Al-Sharif stressed that Syria will remain strong despite their plans, expressing his full confidence that the Syrian Arab Army will liberate the remaining terrorist lands of its country, noting that Syria's victories over the past years are proof that they are greater than what is being plotted against them of conspiracies.
