Sheikh Maher Hammoud, head of the International Union of Resistance Scholars, criticized the American interference in the affairs of the countries of the region, including Lebanon and Syria.
"The United States wants to form a Lebanese government according to its terms and dictates," Hammoud said in a statement to SANA correspondent.
Hammoud said that the American policy will fall and that the costs of steadfastness and confrontation are not greater than the costs of compliance, pointing out that the US delegate at the United Nations, Kelly Kraft, is the one who confirmed that Washington stands behind the protests and demonstrations in Iraq, Lebanon, Iran and before that Syria.
