The Homs Agriculture Directorate implemented a voluntary afforestation campaign in the Nazareth forest site in the governorate countryside, in cooperation with the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students at Al-Baath University.
Bitar pointed out that the afforestation campaign continues until the cultivation of all scorched lands and the return of vegetation to them.
In turn, a number of university students pointed out that their participation in the campaign comes within the framework of their role as youth and is represented in participating in actions that serve the community, stressing that work will be done to return everything that was destroyed and burned and return vegetables to the forests.
