Assad military forces continue to attack rebel enclave in northern Adlib province • China and Russia block proposal to allow refugee aid to be flown in the besieged province

Fifty civilians were hit by airstrikes by Assad regime forces in Idlib province in the north of the country, a London-based Human Rights Observatory reported in London.

At least 19 of the casualties were reportedly killed in the attack, which took place in the town of No'man, a Dorian town of Adlib. The town was undergoing a series of air strikes from both the Russian Air Force. Human rights observers in Syria reported 32 air strikes across Idlib province today.

It was also reported today that unmanned aerial vehicles attacked oil facilities in Homs, causing minor damage to the site. While Damascus is blaming the Bari countries for the offensive, it is more likely the rebels' offensive, which has carried out drone attacks in the past against regime and Russian forces.

Syria's army conquered several villages in Idlib province in the north of the country yesterday, after fierce fighting against rebel forces in the area, which launched a counter-attack in the evening.

According to reports by rebel-affiliated media, forces loyal to al-Qaeda's Tahrir a-Sham affiliate have been able to re-conquer three eastern villages in the capital of Adlib district and inflict heavy casualties in recent hours.

But alongside the war, which is increasingly tending to the regime, the humane price paid by the residents of Adlib district has been rising in recent days. More than 30 civilians were killed in the two days of bombardment of planes and helicopters, most of them around the city of Adlib, the capital of the region. Yesterday, it was reported that more than 10,000 people left their homes in the past week.

Meanwhile, Russia and China have blocked a UN proposal designed to allow UN humanitarian aid to stream into Syria through the Turkish border crossing. The justification for voting against the proposal was that the rebel-controlled border crossings violate Syria's sovereignty.
