Today, the Lebanese army arrested two people in the city of Hermel, Bekaa, for possession of rocket-propelled grenades.
The Lebanese Army Command said in a statement that "a unit of the army arrested at the Asi Hermel checkpoint two people for possessing a quantity of rocket-propelled grenades inside their car, which consisted of 20 RPGs and 21 charges attached to them, in addition to a quantity of ammunition."
The seizures were added, "the seizures were handed over to the competent authority, and the investigation is underway."
To that, a patrol from the Lebanese Intelligence Directorate in the locality of Jdeidet Al-Kita'a in Akkar, North Lebanon, arrested 4 people for imposing royalties on passers-by while crossing the road in the area and committing riots and vandalism in the region.
