A young couple in his thirties arrived at the Lottery House very excited, several hours after finding out about his win, thus breaking a record in his fastest arrival after winning such a significant one.
The winner, who has apparently not yet digested the size of the winnings, filled out a form with only NIS 36 (twice the amount) and won NIS 40 million, after a few weeks when the lottery prize was the maximum and there were no winners.
The winner, a believer, said: "I dreamed three times during my life of winning the lottery. These are numbers that I fill regularly for a long time. Last week I did not fill out a form. And indeed we took the prize in Chanukah's first candle. Secondly, this week's affair is about Joseph the Dreamer ... ".
How did the couple find out about winning? Well yesterday (Sunday) the winner took his three children to kindergarten and school and went to a business meeting. Before the meeting began, he looked at the lottery winners and found that someone had taken the first prize. He says: "I told myself, the numbers look very familiar to me. I took out the form. I started checking the numbers and my heart rate went up accordingly. I asked for forgiveness from the host and ran home."
His wife says: "I was home after a day of illness. Suddenly I hear the door open and I said to myself, 'What is he doing here in the middle of the day? He will go to work.'" My husband said to me, I didn't believe it. He immediately said to me, 'Come on, we're going.' I was in the market thinking it was a mistake and we lost our minds. The moment I began to believe was only when we arrived at the Lottery. I still don't digest that amount. "
What will they do with the money? The woman says: "We don't have our own house and the house we rent is small. I keep telling my kids who love to host their friends - there is no room in the house. My dream is to buy a big house with a garden and we can host as much as we want."
The winner added that he is not making plans yet. "I want to consult with experts. Do everything slowly and with great care and prudence. In any case, I do know what the first thing to do with money is to give tithes to those in need."
These words were said by the winners as they rush to pick up the children from the kindergarten to light a festive Chanukah candle.
