Iranian official: Israel's attacks in the region will not go unanswered

Ali Akbar and Lai, a senior adviser to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, told Russian RT on Monday that "Israel will sooner or later receive the response to its crimes in Syria." He said this in response to the Syrian report of an Israeli attack tonight near Damascus. Akbar-Willati emphasized that the Israeli attacks were illegal and would not go unanswered. "Israel will regret its crimes and the resistance in Syria and Lebanon will oppose American and Israeli crimes."
Syrian media reported that the air defense systems were operating in the Akraba area of the Damascus suburbs to intercept missiles launched by Israel. According to the Syrian Human Rights Organization, Israel has attacked Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime and the pro-Iranian militias. The organization, based in Syria, reported that at least three foreigners were killed in the attack.

"Hezbollah will bury Israel in the dirt if it attacks Lebanon. Israel is helpless and dares not realize its threats against Iran," the adviser said. "The statements made by Israeli officials regarding Iran are just propaganda."
A member of Assad's army forces told Reuters that four cruise missiles were launched in an attack from the coastal area, passing through Lebanon's air zone and crossing into Syria. Israel did not address the reports.
