A little over a year ago, the possibility of renting electric scooters for a short time came into existence in Tel Aviv - and today one of the three companies operating in the industry announced a change in tariff.
Wind decided to change the payment model and stated that, at least for the next month and a half, opening their scooters would be free. However, it is important to note that the price per minute has risen and now, if you rent a Lime scooter you will pay NIS 0.85 per minute, which means that short trips with Lime will be more lucrative and longer trips will be more expensive.
The first company that came into the field was Bird, who set a pricing that starts at NIS 5 and a half-shekel for every minute of rent. Wind and Lyme, which were entering the streets of Tel Aviv very quickly, will be pricing their scooter rental in the same way as Bird and about a year since their entry into Tel Aviv, pricing has remained the same until the last days.
