Chanukah is one of the most beautiful and beloved holidays - thanks to the symbols of light, menorahs and candles and the traditions of gathering candles to light candles with family and friends. In fact, a holiday that does not give a sabbatical is one of the holidays where most family and social events of candle lighting and lots of fried food meet.
For me, coming from a secular family, we always considered the family tradition more than the religious holidays. In recent years, I have also come to live by faith and observance of the holidays because of my partner Uri Zaki, who also welcomes the candles this year and makes sure to say "that you did our fathers and mothers" and in general we do not believe in miracles but try to work to make our miracles happen, and believe that soon Change direction towards peace, democracy, justice and equality.
