Al-Wehda team defeated Al-Wathba team by 61 versus 54 points in the meeting held today in Al-Faihaa hall in Damascus in the first leg of the semi-final round of the Republic Cup basketball competition.
In a second match in the same round, Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Jala'a by 121 to 109 points.
The two teams who win the results of the home and away games are qualified for the final match.
