The Bar Association Chairman Dai Qisi will run for re-election as the Bar Association Chairman. The Bar Association will hold a general election in January next year. If Dai Qisi succeeds in re-election, he will serve as chairman for the third consecutive year, breaking the practice of the association's chairman being re-elected for only two years.

When responding to the inquiry, Dai Qisi pointed out that many members of the guild believed that he had performed well in his tenure, and in this difficult time in Hong Kong, he hoped that he would stay and stabilize the army.

The anti-revision storm continued for more than half a year, and there have been no signs of calming down. The Bar Association, led by Dai Qisi, submitted three submissions on the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance in March, April and June, and issued several statements condemning the violence.
