Revolutionary plan: Defense Minister Naftali Bennett initiates another move, which is expected to strengthen Israel's effective control of Area C in Judea and Samaria. After the implementation of the Palestinian takeover program in Area C, Bennett now directed the transfer of land registration from the Civil Administration to the Justice Department.

"Israel Today" has learned that Bennett has in recent days held a series of discussions with the professionals in his office to make a far-reaching change in the work of the Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria. According to his directive, there will be a significant change in the work of the Chief of Staff (KMT) on land matters, so that the residents of the settlement will carry out the land records in Tabu, in the Israeli Ministry of Justice.

Bennett instructed his bureau to look into a legal mechanism that would change the current working method, so that the residents of the settlement would receive a response in the field of land, similar to the Israeli residents within the Green Line.

Currently, the Civil Administration operates a headquarters for real estate affairs, which is subordinate at the administrative level to the Ministry of Justice, but regularly operates as part of the Civil Administration, which is a military body subject to the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Occupied Territories (AP). Residents of Area C who wish to construct new buildings are required to apply To the KMT office, and this is handled by procedural procedures that sometimes last for several years.

The move Bennett is now focusing on should lead to the abolition of the current KMT working method and its subordination to the Justice Department's taboo section. This is a shortening of waiting times in submitting building plans to residents of Judea, and providing immediate response, similar to the situation in other Israeli cities.

In a hearing at his bureau last week, Bennett instructed the Justice Department in the Ministry of Defense to look into the matter in a positive manner, and to present him with mechanisms of action to regulate it. "This is about applying procedural sovereignty. There is no reason why the residents of Yeshua continue to be discriminated against, they should get the same services from the state," said Minister Bennett.

The move is also expected to lead to a reduction in mortgage-taking procedures in Judea and Samaria, and even a reduction.
