Snow in Hermon, flow in the southern streams: cold and rainy weather throughout the country
Towards the end of a particularly stormy week, the Sabbath is expected to continue to rain, but the strong winds will weaken. The Hermon site will open to visitors tomorrow, and the streams around the country have been filled with water. Local rainfall has fallen from the north of the country to the northern Negev, against the strong winds that have plagued us in recent days. Tomorrow it will continue to rain in the north and in the middle of the country and will be colder than usual.
About 40 cm of snow was piled up at the Hermon site, where snow continues to fall.
Damage to the storm continued today. A cement ship drifted toward the beach south of Ashdod Port. The ship went ashore, and the case was handled by Ashdod Port and the Shipping and Ports Authority, with no casualties.

From the beginning of the winter campaign last night until the evening, the precipitation peak has been Kibbutz Merom Golan, in the Golan Heights, where 188 millimeters of rainfall has fallen. Gamla reached the second place in the Golan Heights with 184 mm of rain, and the opening trio closes the settlement of Avni Hefetz in Samaria with 173 mm. At the end of the list you can find Horizons where only four millimeters of precipitation has fallen. In the sprouts, two mm of precipitation dropped and the list closes at Ramon Negev Junction with one millimeter each.
Earlier this week is expected to be partly cloudy to light, and temperatures will rise, which will return to normal for the season. There is no significant change in the other, except that there may be local rainfall in the north of the country. On Tuesday, there will be a slight drop in temperatures and will be partly cloudy with local rain in the north.
