Three people were injured when a large rock collapsed on the house of a citizen in Al-Shir neighborhood of Hama Governorate, as a result of heavy rains and caused severe material damage.
For his part, the head of the Hama City Council, Adnan Al-Tayyar, explained that the large size rock fell due to heavy rains and fragmented after colliding with one of the houses, pointing to the presence of another rock, about eight meters high, which is vulnerable to falling, so a clearance was made to vacate a house in the aforementioned neighborhood in order to break it.
The service team in the governorate from the Technical Services and Health Directorate, the City Council, the Civil Defense and the Fire Department to carry out their duties and provide the necessary services.
The amount of rainfalls yesterday in Hama Governorate reached 90 mm in Wadi El-Ayoun, 85 mm in Ain Halaqim and 80 mm in Masyaf.
