The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior indicated that all public roads in the governorates are impassable, with the exception of several roads that are difficult to pass in the provinces of Damascus and Al-Suwayda due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The administration indicated in its publication this evening that all roads in the Damascus countryside governorate are impassable except for the Hosh Arab Rankous road that leads to the Salk region with difficulty due to the formation of ice.
In the Governorate of As-Suwayda, all roads in the governorate are clear, except for the roads leading to Shalk and those leading to Salt and the Al-Mashnaf Road, the mountain appeared and the roads leading to the Al-Mashnaf side and its villages are all difficult due to the accumulation of snow, in addition to the arched road, the mountain appeared with difficulty due to thick fog.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to use fog lights, check brakes, reduce speed at corners, slopes, road junctions and drive with caution to avoid accidents, noting that it had assigned numbers 5422703 and 5411365 to inquire about the condition of the roads.
